10/19/2018 Ancient Chinese Poetry
This Friday's theme is ancient Chinese poetry. China has a long tradition of poetic works which began with the Book of Songs. Some dynasties such as the Tang and Song were particularly renown for being innovative periods in which poetry as an art form flourished. Come and join us to explore these classical works.

4:30-5:00 Presentation
5:00-6:00 Calligraphy Practice
Location: Global International Studies Building 1112
During the Workshop we will supply ink, brushes, paper, and copybooks for individual practice free of charge. Besides studying calligraphy, we will also have free food provided by our sponsor Gourmet Garden!
