The Republic of China(1912-49) was preceded by the last imperial dynasty (Qing), and its end was marked by the end of the Chinese Civil War. The students-organized "May Fourth Movement" in 1919 resulted in the upsurge of Chinese nationalism. This event will feature the transmutation of the traditional to modern folklore and culture over that period. You will experience handcraft, calligraphy, chess, mahjong, postcards, magic shows, Waltz, piano show, songs, poems, Guzhen performance, teaism and snacks and more!
The event is supposed by Emperor's Kitchen and Enter KTV in Bloomington. We also collaborate with Office of International Services.
